The electricians at General Electrical are licensed Level 2 Service Providers. They are authorized by the Electricity Distributors of NSW to provide the following services:

• Energy Metering Installation

We install energy metering devices to allow calculation of consumption. These devices are as per the legal norms, and of the highest standards.

We can:

1. Install new, or upgrade energy meters, and CT installations.
2. Install meter for off peak, solar panels, or Time of Use electronics meters.
3. Upgrade from single phase to 3 phase meter

 

• Connection and Disconnection

We can connect and disconnect power supply as per your requirement. Disconnecting power supply to various idle locations can prevent adversities. Disconnected supplies can be connected again if required.

1. Apart from disconnection and reconnection, we can also replace the overhead and underground mains.
2. Consumer mains can be disconnected and reconnected.
3. Moving the point of attachment and replacement of service fuses.

 

• Underground mains

 

We are capable of undertaking work for laying and maintaining underground mains. We can take necessary local permissions for purposes of this work.

 

1. Installation and connection of underground and overhead service cables.
2. Installation of UGOH service and underground pillars.
3. Repair of damaged cables and defect notice.

 

• Overhead services

Overhead cable installation and maintenance work has to be carried out with utmost diligence. There hazard risk is high and it needs much experience to handle the work.

• New and replacement of private poles

 

We can install private electricity poles. Damaged poles can be replaced. Constant maintenance is necessary to ensure that no new hazards are created.

 

1. Temporary private pole and power supply for builders
2. Installation and removal of temporary pole and switch boards
3. Installation / connection / removal of temporary metering equipment

 

• Power upgrade from 3 phase and temporary builders supply.

For construction purposes, contractors generally take 3 phase and temporary builders’ supply. After the construction is finished this type of supply is no longer needed. We upgrade this power supply for you so that you can use it in your homes.

• We can upgrade the overhead service lines from single phase to 3 phase
• Upgradation of underground service lines/consumer mains from single phase to 3 phase
• Upgrading the metering from single phase to 3 phase

We rectify the damages to the private poles, and the defective poles are replaced. We will also issue a Certificate of Compliance CCEW for all the repairs and maintenance work carried out by us
